For the first time in the Wasdale Valley you will be able to experience a luxury holiday in a yurt. Our first yurt sits proudly in the paddock overlooking Wasdale Valley towards Scafell Pike ( England's highest mountain ) and the Scafell Massif. Our second and new arrival for 2009 sits cosily tucked away in its' own secluded spot in the wild garden amongst Oak and Hazel trees, alongside a gentle babbling stream, but still with views of Scafell Pike and the spectacular surrounding landscape.
Both Yurts sleep a maximum of five people, with soft, cosy, ethnic-style furnishings and not only will you have the luxury of electricity, a woodburning stove to keep you warm at night (and constant hot water for tea) you will be served breakfast in the house , have your own toilet and heated shower room close by and wake up to the most spectacular views. The Wasdale Yurt Holiday is great for families and friends and with its' romantic ambience is equally good for couples, honeymooners and anyone in need of some "yurt therapy".
